Job description:

Woolworths has a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring leader within Facilities Management, an Asset Support Manager. The purpose of this role is to establish and manage service partners to drive the nationwide maintenance and service standards. The role supports the overall strategic framework for continuous improvement and integration within the Facilities Management function. It will lead a team of Asset and Asset Improvement Specialists, ensuring that we operate as a Proactive, Responsive and Efficient service model.

Key Skills and Experience

This role is suited to applicants that have proven experience in the following areas:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in either engineering, facilities management or a business discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Retail or FMCG experience in a similar senior management role within a large multi-site organisation

  • Proven coaching and people leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop others.

  • Knowledge of the retail value chain (incl all components such as IT, process, commercial etc) and how this translates to the store and customer

  • Knowledge of financial management

  • Understanding of compliance requirements with relevant codes, Australian Standards and other statutory provisions

  • Proven ability to develop maintenance standards for a range of assets

  • Detailed understanding of air conditioning, retail refrigeration and electrical systems

  • Detailed understanding of asset management systems and life cycling.
