We have an opportunity for experienced E&I Technicians to join Karratha Life Extension project as part of the UCJV.

The UGL and Cape joint venture provides a range of services to the Life Extension Program including the detailed planning and execution of access, fire protection application, blasting and painting, cladding and insulation, mechanical and electrical services. The Karratha Gas Plant includes five LNG processing trains, two domestic gas trains, six condensate stabilisation units, three LPG fractionation units as well as storage and loading facilities for LNG, LPG and condensate.

The E&I Technicians will primarily work on a large switchboard replacement project amid other E&I scopes including Water and Sewages upgrades, HV motor upgrades and turbine control system upgrades.

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Dual Trade qualifications (Electrician and Instrumentation) including current EEHA (refreshed within 5 years)
  • Previous experience working within major hazard facilities preferably on brownfield LNG plants
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Great time management skills.
  • The ability to work within a team and unsupervised.
