UGL is experiencing continued growth and we’re currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced painter blasters with a strong work ethic and good communication skills to work in our shutdown business in a FIFO environment. We’re looking for candidates with strong background in the mining sector.

Your responsibilities include:
• Monitor and ensure compliance to the Safety, Health and Environment Plan
• All aspects of surface preparation and paint application
• Sand blasting with different abrasive media as required
• Comply with the company's quality, environmental and health and safety procedures
• Assist other trades to execute the projects scopes of work as required
• Conventional and airless spray painting in open and confined spaces

• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Significant blasting & painting experience
• Nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
• General knowledge of painting products
• Valid EWP ticket & forklift
• Confined space entry
• Working at heights certification
• Experience with high build epoxies
• Ability to carry out maintenance to painting and abrasive blast equipment (desirable)
• Capacity to read and interpret General Arrangement drawings and specifications (desirable)
• Two checkable work references
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
