This position is based out of TMHA’s Queanbeyan site.

Reporting to the Branch Manager this position is responsible for efficiently allocating breakdowns, scheduled maintenance and other repairs to technicians as required and ensuring internal/external customer’s needs are identified and met.

Key aspects of the role include: -

  • Book service work for retail and rental equipment
  • Coordination and allocation of service and breakdown jobs to technicians.
  • Maintain information relating to service and breakdown jobs
  • Plan daily work to ensure the labour available is utilised to its full capacity
  • Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs
  • Coordinate 3rd party suppliers for breakdown jobs
  • Assist technicians with technical queries
  • Coordinate tool and safety equipment replacements as required
  • Monitor service Work In Progress
  • Monitor Technician’s work hours on a daily basis
  • Monthly reporting on daily job totals and response times

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role where required to control/coordinate a team of remote technicians
  • Experience in mechanical or heavy equipment industry (desirable)
  • Intermediate computer skills and proven experience using an ERP (M3, SAP etc)
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Superior communication, interpersonal & time management skills
  • Experience in the Material Handling Industry or Industrial Services Industry
  • Strong telephone skills and experience responding to a high volumes of customer queries over the phone
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively resolve problems in a timely manner

This is a salaried position and salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience
