To support our success we are currently seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist to join the Customer Marketing team in our Brisbane head office.


About the Role...

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing Sunsuper's corporate member communications and proactive marketing communication campaigns. 


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and distribute transition and on-boarding communications to corporate members of new employers into Sunsuper.
  • Utilising research and insights to design and develop customer-centric communication programs that deliver on financial and non-financial results; including but not limited to proactive marketing campaigns, annual statements, product updates, customer triggered communications and next best offers.
  • Analysing customer data to inform segmentation and messaging for communications programs.
  • Planning, management, forecasting and reporting on campaigns – from concept to final production including reoccurring campaigns, refreshing existing campaigns and introducing new campaigns.
  • Coordinating the delivery of customer-centric communications programs across multiple direct channels; including but not limited to copywriting, agency briefing, internal stakeholder engagement, legislative compliance, segmentation, list creation, contact rules, production, execution, fulfilment, webpage management and collateral creation.
  • Writing and developing content for direct marketing campaigns and communications, including web, email and direct mail copy, while ensuring all copy meets Sunsuper standards in relation to language, flow, style and design.
  • Reporting, analysing, and optimising the performance of customer-centric communications.

This role is available as a 12 month fixed term opportunity due to business needs.


About You...

To ensure success you will possess:

  • 3+ years proven experience in a direct marketing or customer communications discipline.
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in developing and creating technical corporate communications.
  • Ability to analyse customer data to inform insights.
  • Ability to consult widely and build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Goal orientated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain English.
  • Ability to time manage, prioritise work and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
