To support our success we are currently seeking an Advice Analyst to join the Advice and Retirement team in our Brisbane head office.

 

About the Role...

As the Advice Analyst, you will support all channels of Sunsuper's Advice & Retirement team to ensure they are able to use appropriate services and systems to deliver exception and compliant advice to our customers, as well as deliver on services for retail advisers.

 

This role will be integral in the replacement of our internal financial advice software as part of the Member Advice Transformation project. The project will also transform the way that our business provides advice through the implementation of virtual (robo) advice.

 

This role is available as a 9 month fixed term opportunity ceasing in September 2019.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Work with stakeholders to translate business problems and needs to assist the development of detailed business cases, including business requirements, business impact and change assessment and project estimation, start up, and project progress and completion.

  • Facilitate, communicate and support the advice process through improvements in efficiency and capability to; processes, procedures, tools, and resources available to the wider Advice and Retirement Team.

  • Work closely with internal planners to identify opportunities to improve the quality and number of referrals being provided to the National Advice Panel to improve advice outcomes.

  • Collaboration with the leadership team to help drive uplift in the Advice experience and performance through analysis and insights and timely provision of feedback to individuals and stakeholders.

  • Manage and implement key advice related initiatives to drive performance and desired outcomes within the business unit and where required across Advice, Marketing and Growth which support the provision of Financial Advice.

  • Provide timely, appropriate and accurate reporting to all the function of the Advice and Retirement Team. Implement any changes required to this reporting to improve advice outcomes and transparency of the activities of the division.

  • Maintain business unit compliance requirements, through appropriate reporting mechanisms to include; proactive identification of process and/or procedural issues both within and outside of the monitoring environment. This includes the preparation and maintenance of Member Advice documents, calculators, marketing material, and knowledge documentation.

  • Assist both internal and external customers in technical and complex enquiries to maintain consistent customer experiences and resolve and service issues.

About You...

To ensure success you will possess:

  • Financial advice, knowledge and qualifications: RG146 compliant to give Personal and General Advice in Superannuation and Life Insurance (as a minimum).

  • Diploma of Financial Services (FP) or equivalent.

  • Knowledge and experience with legislation, regulation and industry practice related to the supervision and monitoring of AFSLs and APRA regulated superannuation funds.

  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management capability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders to influence outcomes of a complex nature.

  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Demonstrated experienced user of MS Excel and Intermediate Knowledge of SQL Databases.

  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills and dispute resolution techniques.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a number of activities within tight timeframes.

  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (FP) or equivalent, or the willingness to attain these qualifications.
