Position Summary
We are embarking on an exciting transformation program with a fresh approach and new thinking to generate significant external income to enhance patient care.

The Head of Fundraising & Community Relations will lead the delivery of an integrated fundraising and community relations strategy to grow our income, impact and influence. This includes responsibility for appeals, individual giving, community fundraising, bequests, corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations.

The Head of Fundraising & Community Relations will work across the organisation to build a culture of donor-centricity and leads a small, high performing fundraising team (Major Supporter Manager, Community Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Coordinator).

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of the strategic and operational fundraising plan to meet revenue targets and increase support for Peninsula Health.
• Develop and implement an integrated, multi-channel fundraising strategy across individual giving, appeals, regular giving, community fundraising, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, major gifts and bequests.
• Use data analysis and insights to plan, identify and utilise market intelligence to achieve fundraising targets through segmentation and donor-centric communications.
• Lead and inspire the Fundraising team and create an excellent team culture.
• Account-manage assigned major supporter relationships including major donors and corporate partners.

Essential Criteria
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising initiatives, delivering against agreed plans, KPIs and budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and cultivate leads or prospects, developing collaborative, multi-year financial agreements or partnerships.
• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Digital and traditional fundraising and marketing knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards goal achievement and create a positive and engaging team culture.
