About the role: 
We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant on a 12-month maternity leave contract at our North Goonyella Mine.  Our North Goonyella mine is an underground longwall mine located 160 kilometers west of Mackay producing a premium quality, high strength coking coal for export markets.

Reporting to the General Manager, the scope of your role will be to provide high level, confidential administrative and executive support to the General Manager including managing and coordinating administrative processes and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. 
 
Duties will include:
  • Provide high quality and confidential administrative support to the General Manager and the site senior leadership team including diary management, management of correspondence and filing systems, preparation of presentations, document control, stakeholder liaison and general administrative tasks as required
  • Manage and communicate scheduling of meetings and organisation of video and audio facilities
  • Develop, coordinate and comply with the site document management systems including filing
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the site including the preparation of Itineraries and reconciliation of corporate credit cards and expense claim reimbursements
  • Coordinate site activities for visitors to site such as set up of facilities, catering and clothing
  • As required manage invoicing and credit card reconciliations to meet corporate deadlines
  • Collaborate with other PEAC EAs and administration team to deliver optimum coordination, systems and procedures across the business
  • Kronos administration and user support
  • Maintain effective communications and working relationships with all levels of staff and clients internally and externally
  • Assisting in maintaining compliant Mine Records Documentation
The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with 1 rostered Friday off per fortnight and can allow for a residential or DIDO lifestyle.
 
About you:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in the resources sector
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to safety
