The Role


Origin Energy is looking to deliver a number of innovative IT Projects to support the Integrated Gas Business, and as a result we require an experienced Program/Project Co-ordinator.
This role will support project and program managers in managing schedules, milestones, costs, tasks, resourcing, risk and issues; manage program reporting, develop and continuously improve delivery processes; and champion the use of project management toolsets.
You will need to be a driven individual who is passionate about creating a culture where individuals strive to deliver to best practise. 

This position will report into the Integrated Gas IT Group.

Responsibilities on a day to day basis will include:


  • Support PMs create and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, tasks, resourcing, risk and issues;
  • Develop and apply a regular 'Lesson's Learned' process to help steer the project and other related projects
  • Project lifecycle – assist with QA documentation within deliver process to ensure phase management progress, including Go/No Go, Lessons Learned and Transition to support.
  • Assist PMs with project cost management;
  • Maintain project status reporting cadence to ensure transparency of progress, issues and risks;
  • Produce high quality reports and dashboards that provide appropriate insight into project and portfolio performance;
  • Super user support for toolsets (Clarity, Oracle Financials, MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams).
  • Assist in navigating processes, tools, templates and methodologies
  • Standardise and enhance policies, processes, templates, tools, methods, document storage
  • Ensure quality documentation is submitted to steering committees


Specific skills required:


  • Clarity (CA PPM);
  • Oracle Financials;
  • SharePoint (intermediate);
  • MS Project (intermediate); and
  • MS Office (advanced)
