PROJECT COORDINATOR
Strengthening Hospital Response to Family Violence

Part Time Fixed Term Position Available (until June 2019)

48 hours per fortnight

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

We are seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator to manage the planning, development and reporting of the roll out of the Strengthening Hospital Response to Family Violence model of care implementation across Northeast Health Wangaratta and across partner health services in the Central Hume area. The role requires demonstrated personal attributes including innovative thinking and ability to foster strong productive relationships and demonstrates excellent communication skills, technology skills, organisational and planning skills.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders (including consumers), preferably in a health setting
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently when required
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (including consumers)
  • Experience working in hospitals/health services as a health professional or project leader

Desirable

  • Experience in driving cultural change or organisation-wide development programs, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of adult learning and education
  • Confidence in presenting to small and large audiences
