The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is the world's largest volunteer-based fire service. The NSW RFS plays a key coordinating and strategic role in the overall planning and management of fire prevention, mitigation and suppression in NSW.

 

The role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a proven successful Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team, supporting the world's largest volunteer based service provider.

 

We are seeking a passionate and innovative individual to coordinate effective financial management across the entire organisation, whilst contributing to the financial governance frameworks.

 

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve defined business unit and organisational outcomes.

 

Your dedicated team will assist you to complete accurate budget & reforecasts as well as delivering timely, fit for purpose financial information to key stakeholders.

 

Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be a strong team player is crucial, as you will be coaching staff to improve financial management knowledge and skills.

 

You must possess a Degree or Graduate Certificate in the relevant discipline and hold a current full membership with a professional accounting body.

 

Your demonstrated experience with large financial systems like SAP and analytic solution skills will add excellent value to the team.

Essential Requirements
