Job Title:  Administrative Officer
Job Grade / Classification:  Clerk Grade 3 / 4
Remuneration: ($70,652pa – $77,363pa), plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Employment Status: Ongoing – Full Time
Location:  Newcastle

The Opportunity & Role
The Department of Planning and Industry currently has an opportunity for an Administrative Officer to deliver efficient and effective customer focused administrative and business services within the Planning Services division.

Essential Requirements:
Strong organisational skills and highly advanced attention to detail.
You will have strong report writing skills, communication skills and the ability to strengthen engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external.
Advanced levels for Microsoft office suite.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate:
Well-developed verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer service
Demonstrated experience supporting a team of professional staff
High attention to detail, effective communication and self motivation
