The Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for a Design integration lead to be a part of our Network Integration (South East Precinct) team within Sydney Division of Roads and Maritime Services.
The role is responsible for leading the delivery of design assessments of major infrastructure projects and developing measures to ensure optimum traffic flow, road safety performance and network integration during construction and operation that both compliment the road management strategies and also enable the delivery of the major projects objectives.
We are looking for a resilient, collaborative leader who has the ability to manage a team of professional staff and experts to ensure the integration, analysis and technical assessment of design solutions and strategies across multiple complex projects.

The salary for this position is USS 11 ($135,443-$144,521) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
Essential requirements
Along with great attitude and enthusiasm to make a real difference, you would be required to possess
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport planning or a related discipline and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Strong understanding and experience in a range of infrastructure projects, including the inputs, process and programs used to deliver project outcomes.
- Strong experience in assessing major road and road related projects in their development or construction including the ability to engage motivate and supervise the work of specialist staff and consultants.
