Job Title:  Strategic Facilities Officer

Job Grade / Classification: Clerk Grade 5/6

Employment Type: Full Time, Ongoing role

Location:  Sydney CBD/Hurstville/Parramatta (relocating to Parramatta end 2019)

The Planning and Environment Cluster is the lead NSW Government agency in planning for a growing NSW and the care and maintenance of our nature resources and heritage.

  • Working on exciting strategic office accommodation projects within the Facilities and Fleet team for the entire Planning & Environment cluster. Includes strategic accommodation data analysis and the ability to present data to peers and senior management in a concise and meaningful format. 
  • Collaborating with a new, vibrant team of Facilities and cluster professionals in one of the largest and most dynamic NSW Government agency clusters.

  • Potential to make a valuable and significant contribution to the implementation of projects that will enhance the working environment for the employees who work to make life better for the people of New South Wales.

About the Role:


The Strategic Facilities Officer is responsible for delivering and contributing to allocated work, initiatives and projects and undertaking a range of research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of services within Property, Facilities and Fleet.


Essential requirements:


Relevant tertiary and/or trade qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience in asset management.


Experience and knowledge of relevant asset project delivery.



To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:


Experience in a multi-site environment, preferably within the public sector


Experience in acquiring, interpreting, collating and presenting office accommodation data from multiple sources.
