The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Customer Coordination to join the Investment Unit. You will lead a small but highly qualified team of economists responsible for delivering independent review and analysis of projects to support decision making within the capital investment program for projects across RMS.

Key accountabilities
  • Manage the Customer Coordination Unit. This group is responsible for ensuring projects and business cases across all divisions of RMS are feasible, viable, demonstrate value for money and comply with process and legislative requirements.
  • Guide the mentoring of “customer facing” staff involved in the development of business cases.
  • Manage the assurance process for new capital investment projects including assessing and reviewing a range of factors including but not limited to project viability, economic viability, environmental to ensure projects are scrutinised effectively and deliver outcomes fit for purpose.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of project delivery reviews for new capital investment projects to identify potential cost savings and maximising value for money.
We are seeking expressions of interest from tertiary qualified professionals with extensive experience in the development and review of business cases assessing project, economic and environmental viability.

A background in either Transport Economics, Finance or Business Case Development will be looked upon favourably. Above all you will have a demonstrated track record in working within or advising complex infrastructure based organisations. Critical to your success will be your superior stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
