A Senior Manager is required to manage the operations of the School Infrastructure Business Systems for the support and integrated delivery of the various Asset Management operations including the Government contracts for maintenance, cleaning and associated activities. The role will include the design and implementation of relevant policy, procedures, systems and guidelines, and providing leadership and guidance to the SI Business Systems team.
 
About School Infrastructure NSW
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is a newly formed centre of excellence for school assets, leading the end to end of school infrastructure, from planning and delivery, to asset management, in line with the School Assets Strategic Plan and the Department of Education’s strategic plan. It is also charged with taking a lead in the planning and construction of school facilities required to deliver new ways of teaching and learning across NSW.  SINSW aims to deliver a world class framework that puts students at the centre of all activities and focuses on operations as clients.
 
About the role
This role manages the operations of the School Infrastructure Business Systems to support integrated delivery of the various Asset Management operations including the Whole-of-Government contracts by designing and implementing relevant policy, procedures, and guidelines, and providing leadership and guidance to the SI BusinessSystems team.

PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS:
  1. The Senior Manager SI Business Systems role is primarily responsible for the design, implementation and management of Asset Management Systems that include contracts for the delivery of maintenance, cleaning and associated services. Please provide details of your experience in managing the operation and data integrity in large corporate systems and how you might use data analytics to assist with this function. (300 or 400 words)
  2. Please provide details and examples of where you have been responsible for the design and implementation of web based applications that provide a modern and easy to use interface with large relational databases. (300 or 400 words)
 
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Extensive & relevant industry experience and/or tertiary qualifications in the Asset Management, Business Systems and Information Technology Solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of the complex Asset Management operations, business requirements and information management using various technology platforms such as .NET & SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies. (Please find Aboriginal Education Review – Information)
