This is a highly rewarding and challenging role located in our Mount Waverley Head Office working within the busy Service & Warranty Team for Metricon's medium density business.
Reporting to the Scheduler Qualifier, your responsibilities will include:
  • The processing of 90-day maintenance and service requests to assist Service Site Managers in ensuring timely handling of requests;
  • Organising and prioritising the activities of the Service & Warranty Site Managers;
  • Reviewing and investigating the QA results and bookings spreadsheet to identify trends and issues arising;
  • Assisting Site Supervisors in the preparation of detailed communications in relation to specific service and warranty issues;
  • Receiving all incoming telephone calls from customers regarding service related issues and resolving in a timely and professional manner; and
  • General administration duties.

    The successful candidate will have:
  • Diploma in Building Construction is desirable, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage;
  • Reasonable trade background is an advantage;
  • Working knowledge of construction processes and details;
  • Working knowledge of contracts and plans;
  • Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Word; and
  • Working knowledge of current Standards and Tolerances relevant to the home building industry, and any other industry publications.
