Maroondah City Council is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated person to provide critical decision making and leadership to its Health, Local Laws and Emergency Management function. The successful candidate must be able to build strong relationships within the Team and across all areas of the Council as well as facilitate successful partnerships with external community organisations and other levels of government.

This portfolio has management responsibilities for the effective planning and delivery of Council services / activities within the Health and Local Laws service area, that are designed to enhance the Community and ensure Council meets its statutory obligations. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable leadership qualities and the ability to guide the Health, Local Laws and Emergency Management team to achieve significant outcomes for the community.
