We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join and support our Investment Management business. The position will be located at our world class offices at Barangaroo, Sydney and will be a great opportunity to work on some complex and exciting deals and projects, as well as further your career in a global leading organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and transactional support, including advising on, structuring and coordinating significant transactions such as equity raisings, fund establishment, debt financing, and property acquisitions, divestments and developments. You will also provide legal support to the business on a range of operational matters and corporate governance.

Our longstanding experience and market insight enables us to deliver the best property outcomes through a full range of economic and market cycles. Lendlease has a strong investment management capability which complements the world class product creation capability of the broader Lendlease Group, allowing us to deliver a range of global real estate products and solutions tailored to the needs of institutional investors.

To be successful in this role you need have a minimum of 10 years PQE, including some experience  in an in-house legal team. Experience in property (particularly in a funds context) or investment management is essential, with experience in both being highly desirable. We are looking for a senior lawyer with the ability to:

  • coordinate major transactions;
  • think and drive projects independently;
  • work effectively within a team;
  • manage different stakeholders; and
  • deliver commercial outcomes.
