About the role:

Based at our Artarmon Plant and reporting to the Concrete Plant Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the dispatching, utilisation and timely delivery of Holcim's fleet of Agitator Trucks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Allocate agitator trucks to customer job site and negotiate where and when trucks / work can be transferred
  • Manage truck utilisation in conjunction with batch plants and Area Operations
  • Ensure complaints and issues are handled in a prompt and effective manner as per procedures
  • Use a hands on approach and be directly involved which will display effective leadership behaviours to ensure a highly motivated and effective teams
  • Maintain effective communication with Plant Production Supervisors, Contractors, Area Operations Managers, Account Managers and Technical staff
  • Effectively manage and comply with driver fatigue requirements
  • Ensure daily raw material orders are placed accurately and on time for next days production schedules
  • Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace. Comply with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation
  • Managers to effectively reduce costs whilst maintaining optimum service level possible, to customer

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated site administration experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Intermediate use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ideally have industry knowledge and/or site experience
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to strict timeframes
  • Work independently whilst remaining a team player
  • Build working relationships with multiple stakeholders
