About the role

As a Technical Support Manager the successful applicant will provide innovative technical advice and support to Holcim''s major projects clients, with particular emphasis on RMS specifications while you maximise the utilisation of Holcim''s aggregates resources in meeting major project needs.

You will ensure product mix costs are minimized at the same time as achieving full compliance with minimum technical standards.  Develop, monitor and report on quality targets and performance while you provide technical advice and support to the Major Projects Execution team to maximize the utilization, quality and profitability and success of each major project in Sydney.

About You:

  • Managing concrete mix performance with changing sources and quality of raw materials.
  • Working with Quarry Operations to ensure the product of best fit from a Quarry Utilisation perspective.
  • Liaising with laboratories to ensure correct mixes are tested and in sufficient numbers.
  • Selling our technical capability to customers while correctly and ethically representing our products.
  • Negotiating project exceptions.
  • Developing technical competence in RMS specifications.
  • Maintaining company compliance and quality standards in face of commercial pressures.
