Ours is a subsidiary of a Global Brand selling and servicing equipment for construction, mining and forestry industries. Based in Greystanes, our Audit & Compliance Department conducts a range of Risk Based Audits to test the strength of internal controls and provide recommendations.

This position will require you to travel interstate and abroad on occasion to complete audit assignments by the set deadlines.


Reporting to Assistant Manager – Internal Audit, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct audits as per Annual Schedules
  • Test samples as per audit procedures
  • Record field work done
  • Collect working papers and link them to field work activities
  • Draft Issues Listing Reports (ILR)
  • Test internal controls for SOX Compliance
  • Walk through Processes based on Flow Charts

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Auditing and/or Accounting
  • Experience of 2-3 years in auditing in medium to large organisation
  • Ability to understand a wide range of business processes and IT systems
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Visio
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

 

Knowledge of Audit Management Software (Teammate) will be considered favourably

Certification from Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Australia, is not must but preferred.
