Due to exponential growth in the Victorian Region HCA is currently looking to appoint a Technical Support Representative joining our team in Dandenong, servicing the Melbourne, Somerton & Albury branches. This newly created role will have you working collaboratively, supporting our internal and external customers with technical issues and creating solutions to meet their needs. We are looking for a personable and professional individual who would be just as excited as we are in joining our success and growth journey!

Reporting to the Service Manager your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting internal and external customers in relation to technical related queries/issues
  • Supporting HCA staff in-field with technical and diagnostic support
  • Maintaining a positive link between relevant parties (mainly the customer and the service department) and ensuring a high degree of support, providing consistent high levels of service
  • Performing a full scope of diagnostic evaluation, troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Ensure OEM and HCA technical documentation is maintained, updated and distributed
  • Working at all times with a safety first culture to meet HCA's WHS responsibilities

To be successful you will need:

  • Relevant mechanical trade or engineering qualifications
  • High level technical knowledge of current construction equipment
  • Experience in a similar technical support role, with fleet availability/reliability analysis considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current experience within the Australian construction industry is preferred but not essential
