About the role

We have an opportunity for a commercial savvy qualified Financial Accountant to join our busy team in Pemulwuy on a temporary basis with a view to permanent. As part of this dynamic team and reporting to the Assistant Accounting Manager your key responsibility will be to ensure that accurate and meaningful business financials are generated to assist the business in making informed decisions.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing of month end Management reports and other key reports for our business and our parent company
  • To analyses, interpret and deliver financial information to our partners to help them in making financial business decisions.
  • As we are embarking on a new ERP system, this role will assist in implementation and improvement of our processes.
  • Perform the functions of sales departmental financial accountant.
  • Preparation of income tax return.

About You

  • A professional accounting qualification - CA or CPA is needed.
  • You would have similar experience working in a large complex business.
  • You would have excellent analytical skills with the ability to take care of complex issues and provide solutions.
  • Professional interpersonal skills with exceptional customer service skills
  • Advance Excel skills and the ability to manipulate numbers to build meaningful reports.
