The Role

Our Dalby branch has an exciting opportunity for 3 newly appointed Field Service Fitters to join the friendly and successfully busy team. The key responsibility for this role is to provide quality customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of quality Hitachi equipment and product lines,

Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes

  • Qualifications - Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline. Heavy Diesel mechanics and fitters with Hitachi specific exposure would be advantageous;
  • Skills - Demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction and mining equipment
  • Safety Conscious - A strong developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate complex technical issues to deliver high quality outcomes in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework
  • Autonomous productivity - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively;
  • Innovation - Passionate pursuit in delivering quality outcomes and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
