The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will work in a close knit and experienced Sales Team to service the Residential/Commercial sector of the building industry in the Melbourne Inner City and Bayside area. You will be accountable for maintaining & growing accounts & relationships; identifying & securing new business opportunities; and providing after sales service & client account support.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this key position you’ll be known for your ability to develop market insights, your ‘Hunter’ sales style and your strategic thinking. You will be motivated by chasing a sale and working with premium products. Ideally you can demonstrate:

  • Formal qualifications
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales capacity, within the building products industry
    • Ability to work within a high performance team
    • Collaborative and results orientated working style
    • Proven commercial acumen and an analytical approach
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport and influence others
