The Role

The position is Northam based and is responsible for the administration processes within the Kwinana South Zone. This includes staff management and management of offices and facilities. This is a challenging role, with variety and autonomy which is supported by a fantastic team.

The position provides support primarily to the Zone Manager and also supports the Zone Management Team. The position requires preparation of reports and information to enable effective management of Zone operations and financial performance.

Zone Administration Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Coordination of the clerical and administrative duties for the Zone office and to assist management when required
  • Provide personal assistant support primarily to the Zone Manager and also supports the Zone Management Team
  • Liaising with the Company's external and internal customers
  • Manage and improve the operational and cost efficiency of budgets within the zone
  • Coordination of timesheets
  • Purchasing and inventory management
  • Coordination of the recruitment, selection and training of seasonal staff.
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate events
  • Data processing and statistical analysis


This role is based at the Northam (Avon) Receival Site.

You will:

  • Exhibit a strong dedication to prioritising safety
  • Communicate professionally and demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Possess intermediate computer skills, which includes SAP
  • Display the desire and willingness to learn and accept new challenges

Possession of the following will be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in an Administrative Role
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills – establishing positive relationships, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Good written and verbal communication skills – communicates effectively with growers, customers, staff, managers and external service providers at all levels
  • Written communication skills, ability to create and prepare quality correspondence and reports, newsletters and other documentation
  • Proven experience and success in financial, purchasing and staffing administration and office management
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, but within a team based environment
  • Advanced skills in MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Skills and experience in using SAP or similar corporate information systems
  • Ability to lead and support a small team, supervise and develop staff
  • Travel is required; applicants must have current driver’s licence
