What about your team?

Reporting to the centrally located Business Improvement Manager, you will work alongside the frontline management teams to identify and deliver operational improvements to drive efficiency and business performance across the CBH Group. We are recruiting multiple roles to be based at one of the following locations:

  • Geraldton
  • Merredin
  • Albany
  • Esperance

What will your day look like?

  • Identify process improvements across the supply chain and drive business performance through the development, coordination and implementation of management systems that drive business performance
  • Develop productivity and innovation strategies to maximise the efficiency of the organisation
  • Coach individual department leaders in the application of business improvement methods and Lean Principles to solve business problems
  • Demonstrate a clear problem-solving methodology through the application of structured root cause analysis systems, analysing data or processes, performing gap analysis and making well-judged decisions to implement sustainable solutions through Continuous Improvement

What will help you succeed?

You will be a capable, motivated self-starter with exceptional communication skills and the ability to create buy-in and engagement from diverse stakeholder groups. You will ideally possess:

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification, engineering (preferred), maths, science or other discipline
  • Up to 8 years relevant experience with a high level of technical knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with a LEAN manufacturing, supply chain optimisation or industrial process management
  • Sound knowledge of operating environments and exposure to management operating systems
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create buy-in and engagement from diverse stakeholder groups
  • Able to effectively plan and manage multiple priorities and activities in line with time and budget commitments.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in export commodity supply chain environment.
