About the Position

As the Executive Manager of Child and Family Services, you will be responsible for effectively managing a range of programs and portfolio responsibilities with a focus on services for children and families. Specific program and portfolio responsibilities will be negotiated with the successful candidate. As an experienced Community Services Professional, you will possess a passion for community development, child and family policy, stakeholder engagement and the ability to lead and mentor an already dedicated team. Tertiary qualifications in human services such as social work, psychology, counselling and/or community development are essential, as is your ability to demonstrate high level management experience within the community service sector in a medium to large organisation. It is also highly desirable you have sound experience in:

  • Strategic planning
  • Social policy development
  • Program management
  • People management
  • Negotiation and communication
  • Delivery of Children and Family services
  • Leadership and Innovation
  • Tender preparation and financial management
