The role:

The Property Accountant – Office is an integral member of the Office and Industrial Real Estate Finance team, providing high quality management and financial reporting for a portfolio of office assets. The Property Accounting team provides accurate, timely and meaningful information to assist the Property Management team in the management of these assets and to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager for each asset, the role encompasses all areas of reporting including: month end reporting, debtors, budgeting, outgoings reconciliations, profit and loss review, balance sheet reconciliations, management of audit requests and enquiries and preparation of disclosure information.

The person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
  • CPA / CA preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar environment.
  • Desire to work in a team environment and embrace different ideas and ways of workings
  • Maintain high standards of performance – e.g. attention to detail, quality and timely execution of tasks
  • Previous exposure to budget and forecast preparation.
  • Experienced in use of property management accounting systems, in particular, JD Edwards.
