About the role:

 

This role is part of the Enterprise Portfolio and is intended to manage and continuously improve the application landscape across the Success Factors space including Payroll and People Master Data.  

 

The responsibilities include maintaining stable systems, continuous improvement of applications, building a strong highly skilled team and keeping abreast of the latest best of breed technologies. You will be playing a key role within a retail organisation to ensure technical delivery of new and innovative initiatives are aligned with the brand strategy.

 

A key element of the role is work seamlessly with the People Systems Business support team to provide an end to end support service.

 

What You’ll do:

 

  • This role is responsible for the delivery of Enterprise level platforms across the Woolworths Group with focus on Success Factors, Payroll and People Master Data.

  • Ensuring applications within Success Factors, Payroll and People Master Data  space are fit for purpose and are kept current through continuous improvement and maintenance

  • Maintain specific application roadmap/s and ensure alignment with business strategy

  • Management of the end to end application life cycle

  • Application risk management and implementation of controls

  • Work within a DevOps delivery model

  • Delivery of both large and small scale projects

  • Managing total cost of ownership over applications and deliver strategies to drive reductions 

  • Working with parts of technology to ensure application health checks are completed, capacity plans are in place, DR facilities are completed

  • Lead a high performing team of applications delivery professionals

  • This is an existing role within the IT People Systems team

 

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

 

  • Technical background, aptitude and passion

  • Experience working with Success Factors and SAP payroll

  • People leadership skills

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with regard to development and maintenance key systems of record

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and in senior-level forums

  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to stay calm in challenging circumstances, and work through problems methodically

  • Strong understanding of delivery principles, including Agile and Lean delivery

  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex platforms with multiple stakeholders
