The Category Assistant provides administration support to the relevant team and stream within Woolworths. The role supports and works with colleagues and internal stakeholders and also supports the  onboarding of new and existing suppliers. Functions of the role include;

 

  • Enter data and ensure accuracy in existing and new article set up

  • Manage process workflows

  • Develop professional working relationships with suppliers

  • Issuing onboarding files for Suppliers

  • Provide timely and efficient response time with suppliers and internal needs

  • Draft business award and deletion letters, and other communication as required

  • Effectively handle and close customer complaints

  • Assist and support wider team to deliver range reviews

  • Coordinate product for marketing photoshoots, instore set up

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive value and customer experience

 

Note that a role in Produce requires somebody who can be flexible in hours which may also include the occasional weekend. Potentially one day per week will be an early start however this is met with an early finish! For example you may start at 6am then finish at 3pm (we will take into account family circumstances).
