We have an exciting high profile transformation project within our Facilities Management group and are seeking an experienced energy optimisation technical specialist.


The primary purpose of the role is to manage the proactive identification of energy optimisation opportunities within the energy management centre to support energy efficiency & continuous optimisation as well as innovation projects across a multi-site roll-out program.


This role is based at our National Support Office in Bella Vista.


To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Put our customers at the beginning of all decision making
  • Be accountable for delivery of project results together with the team manager
  • Develop and implement roll-out plans to optimise available resources, maintain project budgets and maximise project value creation
  • Ensure project records are kept up to date with program, budget and completion detail
  • Report project progress from a time, cost, quality and safety perspective
  • Develop & manage the project scope to determine the most cost effective path to completion, while minimising the impact of the works on our store’s & business operation
  • Manage communication across project stakeholders, including our store teams, senior management, business units, contractors and suppliers
  • Lead, coach and motivate all project team members

To be considered for this role you will possess:

  • A strong customer focus
  • Experience in an engineering discipline - refrigeration/HVAC/controls, energy optimisation &  project coordination, preferably in a fast paced multi-site portfolio
  • Strong project and resource planning skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to influence others and gain commitment to achieve required timelines
  • Tenacity for problem solving and overcoming obstacles
  • Strong MS Excel, Powerpoint and Google software capabilities
