About the role:

The Project Manager will work closely with the business to plan and coordinate the development, delivery and  integration to ensure that the most important initiatives in their strategy are professionally managed from original concept through to final implementation. This is a hands on role and your strong relationship management and engagement skills are essential in successfully implementing these projects and building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.  The incumbent will also assist on our Agile transformation journey and be a key member of the Woolworths Agile community.

We’re looking for our next superstar with the following:


  • Experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience and/or exposure to Lean Six Sigma
  • Background in Operations Management
  • Experience leading programs including Property Build-out, Large system / process implementations, Culture Change Programs, Agile implementations
  • Proven ability to develop budgets and effectively manage financial plans and resources
  • Extensive experience in managing projects in a diverse, multi-brand business model, using complex information technology
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and leadership skills in order to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations
  • Understanding of business process and business change aspects of projects
  • Advanced conflict management skills
  • Experience in working in an Agile and Waterfall Environment
