As the Assistant Direct Marketing Manager (Mobile), you will be responsible to develop, execute and optimise the Woolworths Mobile Direct & Targeted Media program strategy and plan, to deliver strong BTL acquisition and retention results for the business, whilst delivering substantial value to Woolworths Mobile customers.


The roles key objectives include:


  • Acquire new Woolworths Mobile customers through Woolworths BTL channels

  • Retain existing Woolworths Mobile customers

  • Increase Woolworths Mobile product engagement utilisation

  • Drive incremental spend for Woolworths

  • Implementing best practice direct marketing to optimise return on marketing investment.


About You

To be successful for this role, you will have the following:


  • 3+ years experience in Direct/Digital Marketing, Direct Response, CRM, or Data Driven Marketing roles.

  • Experience in creating and developing and leading successful strategies and contact plans to budget.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing successful multi-channel direct marketing campaigns.

  • Proven ability to develop accurate business cases and activity plans that met or exceeds acquisition / retention hurdles.

  • Strong data experience including segmentation and financial modelling.

  • Experience in campaign automation and exposure to key principles and solutions.

  • Experience in customer lifecycle management, with proven ability to impact customer value.

  • Experience in specifying and leveraging statistical or computational models to improve campaign performance outcomes.

  • Experience in developing Test & Learn frameworks, and driving conversion rates across multiple channels.

  • Experience of customer databases and/or complex data sets, including segmentation, clustering, and predictive modelling.

  • Experience in working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Experience in managing external agencies and vendors for performance.

  • Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (Business/Commerce/Marketing etc.).
