The Role

The role is to provide support to the Managing Director by undertaking research, data analysis and report preparation.

The role will support William Buck's business development activities through research, analysis and identification of new business opportunities

Your responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring the Managing Director has appropriate information to hand on a timely basis for prospecting meetings. 
  • Gathering a variety of information on potential targets and across a range of industry sectors 
  • Analysing data to compile detailed, easily accessible information in the form of reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Market research 
  • Gather and transfer information into a database to develop a solid foundation of information for future reference. 
  • Working with the NSW Marketing team and taking a leadership role to drive activity around the William Buck Alumni in the form of membership, newsletters and events. 
  • Building profile for the Managing Director and William Buck thought leadership on social media platforms 
  • Reviewing and consolidating presentations to 3-4 core presentations and develop a template.

You will have: 

  • Excellent numeracy skills 
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data and analytics purposes. 
  • Ability to methodically navigate through complex information to gather data and structure it in a logical manner 
  • Highly developed organisation skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels and from a range of backgrounds. 
  • Excellent time management skills, including the capacity to arrange workload to meet conflicting priorities and deadlines. 
  • An inquisitive and questioning nature with an orientation towards "rolling up your sleeves" and getting involved 
  • An ability to think laterally to find different ways to identify and source information.

Degree Qualified in Marketing or a Business-related discipline.
