Job description:

Reporting to the Asset Management Supervisor the Asset Management Analyst is responsible for analytics and revision of maintenance cost projections for existing maintenance contracts. The position will provide a high level of support service to operational MARC/MPA/CSA sites, Pricing and Support teams and Managers to ensure contract projections align with budget and operational activities, thereby ensuring accuracy for financial reporting.

This position will also be the primary contact point for all queries relating to contract equipment for existing MARC, MPA and CSA maintenance schedules and projections in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role will serve as a communication point between site operations head office support and Management.

A thorough understanding of remote maintenance operations and industry best practice will be the key to transferring analytical data into operational solutions. The Operational Pricing and Support team will assist on-site teams to deliver outstanding equipment management results, through proven asset management techniques. Regular site visits will be required to build working relationships with operational teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience with mobile equipment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a maintenance planning/costing/analysis capacity
  • Certificate IV Business/Accounting and an understanding and application of various financial principles and the relationship between operational activities and financial implications
  • Have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite, internet based applications)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
  • Ability to work successfully in teams and autonomously
