About the role:
 
Acts as an expert, technical specialist and consultant using best practice business and system knowledge, to capture requirements, provide analysis and design solutions that facilitate effective and efficient use of Business Applications in support of the Water Corporation’s core Business Processes, cognisant of key stakeholders expectations and needs.
 
What the role will offer:
  • Analyse and define complex business process and stakeholder needs and translate into application requirements and designs
  • Prepare written analysis, including recommendations and conclusions, of complex application’s performance, change and improvement
  • Critically accept, assess, prioritise and investigate business application change initiatives/request
  • Configure and/or coordinate development, test and document approved applications changes
  • Manage change releases including detailed planning of implementation schedules
  • Participate in key business units’ and stakeholder’s strategic business planning processes and forums
  • Continuously scan the business environment and processes to identify improvement opportunities that can be accommodated through application functionality or capability
  • Develop and maintain documentation associated with requirements, issues, change, release, development & learning associated with applications
Key skills and experience:
  • Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, etc);   and,

Relevant experience in the implementation and delivery of a Business Applications support function within a large multifaceted and geographically dispersed organisation.

 

Or

  • Substantial experience in the implementation and delivery of one or more Business Applications support functions within a large multifaceted and geographically dispersed organisation; and,
  • Considerable experience in at least one Water Corporation core business process
  • Considerable experience as Business System Analyst supporting SAP HR module
  • Experience in the implementation and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module
