About the role

Working as part of Engagement team, the role is responsible for the Sustainable Business and Food engagement program which requires working collaboratively with conservation and sustainable business experts to build communications campaign plans, and brief in the digital marketing and content teams to create, distribute and amplify engaging content for B2B and the public. The role works closely with WWF's Business Partners and tracks and evaluates engagement initiatives to better understand performance in terms of lead generation, reach, brand, engagement and influence targets.

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Experience in developing engagement strategies, plans and activities for both business audiences and for consumer or public audiences, across a variety of communications channels, preferably with a link to food or FMCG.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of channels.

  • Ability to translate technical content into user-friendly, engaging copy.

  • Working knowledge of social platforms, digital channels and news media.

  • Attention to detail and experience working within guidelines and protocols to tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work constructively in a flexible team based environment.

  • Project and risk management skills.

Ideally, you will have experience working in sales, business development or fundraising sector, relationships with business related news media and experience in cross-cultural communication.
