Inglewood Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated teacher of Italian to join our professional teaching team, to continue the already established Languages program. In 2018, Inglewood will commence teaching Italian as its Languages Other Than English (LOTE) program.

The successful applicant will provide innovative teaching and learning programs that nurture and inspire students. You will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a contribution to our school community. The successful applicant will ideally have outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate and relate to parents, students and staff members.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in delivering a rigorous teaching and learning program which differentiates tasks and expectations, for each and every student in their care. The successful applicant will show experience in delivering the Languages program (Italian) and a strong knowledge of the Languages curriculum. The successful applicant will ideally build on the Languages program Inglewood PS has already established, however with a language change to the teaching of Italian in 2018.

Inglewood PS and Sutherland Dianella PS share a common direction in Languages (Italian) and the successful applicant will work closely with Sutherland Dianella PS, in delivering a rich and rigorous Languages experience across the two schools.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
