Vision Australia is a leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. We work in partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.

We support more than 27,500 people of all ages and life stages, and circumstances. We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Administration operator to join our team in the Barwon South west Grampians region. This role can be performed in a full time capacity.

Responsibilities 

As an Administration Support Officer at Vision Australia you will:

  • Monitor and maintain up to date records in accordance with professional standards, Vision Australia policy and procedures and external legislation;
  • Implement processes for the region ensuring timely, correct usage of HR kiosk, NetSuite, CMS and other applications for data and reporting accurately;
  • Provide high level administrative support to the Regional Manager and other members of the team to meet the needs of the team and clients;
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers undertaking reception and administrative activities for the office;

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years Administrative Support experience
  • Experience working in high level administration and customer service roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications and other software programs
  • Proven ability to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement administrative systems and processes to achieve efficiency
