Vision Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Coordinator to join our team based in Kooyong and make a positive contribution to our customers.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Store Manager (Retail Coordinator) who will be responsible for leading a team of volunteer members to effectively manage the daily operations of the store. Partnering with the Retail Manager, this role plays an integral part in driving sales to achieve targets and build a co-operative workforce.

You will be responsible for handling general customer inquiries, maintaining the retail shop displays, demonstration of appropriate technology and aids to Vision Australia customers, groups, and families.

The successful candidate will have proven people management skills and can demonstrate leadership qualities. You have an ability to relate to a diverse group and are results driven with an ability to manage a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills, an ability to target your intended market, confidence in making quick decisions and a positive attitude are key in being successful in this role.  The successful applicant will have either a m minimum Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or Occupational Therapy/Adaptive Technology qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in experience in retail sales, preferably of optical, medical equipment or assistive technology.

An ability to target your intended market, exceptional organisational skills, confidence in making quick decisions and a positive attitude are key in being successful in this role. It is essential that the successful applicant have an optical qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in experience in retail sales, preferably of optical, medical equipment or assistive technology.
