UGL are seeking suitably experienced Diesel Mechanics across the Coal Mining & Petrochemical space to join our team in various upcoming contracts throughout the NSW sector.
Maintenance, repair and refurbishment of heavy vehicles and industrial equipment are a major component of the relevant roles.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coal mining maintenance on heavy industrial environment
  • Hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (HD mechanic or equivalent)
  • High level of troubleshooting skills of electronic and mechanical systems
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Sound knowledge of tracked type drive systems
  • Drivers Licence
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Able to identify and manage task safety issues
  • The ability to work independently or co-operatively within a team
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Proactive attitude to safety to yourself and your team.
  • Willing to work shift work
