UGL has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Supervisor to drive the civil works component of a 42.5MW Solar Farm being developed in Collinsville, Queensland.
The key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Supervision of Foreman, Leading Hands, labour and equipment to ensure completion of the work in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the company and client, Health Safety and Environment Plan.
  • Plan and coordinate in advance the resources and equipment for the Project to conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
  • Ensure correct material, machinery, equipment and personnel are available and suitable for completion of work.
Requirements to succeed in this position:
  • Ability to interact at all levels with external parties and company personnel in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to generate solutions to work problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and act decisively.
  • Willing to work as part of a project team.
  • 5 years experience within heavy industrial construction or mining industry in a Supervisory capacity.
  • Relevant trade certificate.
