The role exists to support TMHA's continued market dominance in Australia by providing industry's best after sales support.

This role will form part of TMHA Senior Management Team and will require a very strong commitment to TMHA mission and values as well as TMHA's long term business plans and objectives.

The role will require regular local and overseas travel.

The key aspects of the role include: -

  • In conjunction with General Manager Service manage the National Service function of TMHA including Technical Training, Engineering, National Parts, Warranty and Fleet Management
  • Lead, manage and coordinate TMHA technical training by developing and deploying competent, compliant and innovative product and technical training initiatives across TMHA
  • Provide high quality service support to TMHA branches by developing a well-considered service framework and supporting its deployment across TMHA
  • Assist TMHA with providing its customers with the highest level of account management by analysing and addressing product and service performance trends and related issues
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in key service contract negotiations across TMHA
  • Provide guidance and advice to TMHA branch network on service related issues and make recommendations for improvement
  • Liaise  with the manufacturers on addressing product related issues

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Business/Commerce/Management qualifications (highly regarded)
  • Strong industrial equipment experience
  • Sound leadership experience in industrial equipment, transport or manufacturing environment
  • At least 5 years of management experience
  • Well-developed analytical and report writing skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills accompanied by strong influential skills

This is a salaried position and salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience.
