Toyota Material Handling Australia Pty Limited (TMHA) was established in July 2003 to distribute and sell industrial equipment manufactured by Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) and TICO's subsidiary companies. This position is based at TMHA’s Moorebank site.

Reporting to the Branch Rental & Used Equipment Manager this role is primarily responsible for providing support and communication on rental activities.

Other key aspects of the role include: -

  • Manage deadlines/requests to meet timeframes required for reporting (as per set KPI’s).
  • Manage the transport of material handling equipment for the respective branch ensuring commercial obligations and customer’s expectations are met in a financially responsible manner.
  • Ensure the Hire Units are rented and contracted as required with ERP system (M3) process and procedures.
  • Apply correct administration procedures for all STR de-hire and fleet reclassifications
  • Create and invoice rental and sub-rental contracts on timely basis.
  • Manage forklift registrations and rental agreements.
  • Provide monthly sales and hiring reports to Branch Manager & Branch Sales Manager, & Head Office.
  • Receive incoming STR (short term rental) enquiries as required and ensure prompt follow up and feedback to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure units are managed in accordance with TMHA policy & procedure including documentation requirements.
  • Manage non chargeable units and report weekly as per TMHA Policy and Procedure.
  • Manage meter reading book ins of all de hired rental units daily.
  • Ensure details of all customer contacts are added and updated as required. Prepare and send relevant forms to Finance and Asset Department for updating of M3 customer Master Files.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Comprehensive product knowledge (desirable)
  • Previous experience with direct customer contact
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Excellent administration skills with strong PC skills, including use of spreadsheets.
  • Strong ability to work within a team environment
  • High level of customer focus
  • Strong self-motivation
  • ERP system knowledge such as Movex or SAP
