Reporting to the Parts Manager this role is primarily responsible for the supply and interpretation of parts to TMHA technicians and external customer base.

Other key aspects of the role include: -

  • Providing pricing, parts & technical assistance to the sales and service teams
  • Handling customer enquiries, identifying parts and dispatching in a timely fashion
  • Following up outstanding quotations and purchase orders
  • Processing incoming supplier invoices
  • Service the service technicians as required
  • Ordering parts
  • Monitor activity for non-stock demand and emergency replenishment of stock lines
  • Providing assistance to the Parts Manager to maintain agreed levels of stock
  • Creating part numbers, processing credits & entering lost sales
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by the Parts Manager

The position requires the following experience and skills:

  • Minimum 12 months experience with Toyota parts and systems (desirable)
  • An understanding of the material handling industry with particular emphasis on the technical aspects (desirable)
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Experience with ERP system (M3) (desirable)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate PC skills
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to deal with customers, staff at all levels
