This position is based at TMHA Kewdale branch

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor this position is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services to customers’ forklifts.

Other key aspects of the role include: -

  • Carrying out work in accordance with TMH’s quality standards;
  • Completing all associated paperwork;
  • Returning Service Exchange items to Spare Parts.
  • Reporting any defects or potential defects with machinery;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of workshop;
  • Maintaining a pleasant and considerate manner with clients.
  • Participating in training programs to raise knowledge of product, procedures, statutory responsibilities, licensing requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic/Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic);
  • Highly developed mechanical aptitude;
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Sound communication skills;
  • Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment;
