Our Opportunity
With significant bid activity currently underway and results expected imminently, the opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Engineer/Systems Engineering Manager to join our team. Bringing with you extensive systems engineering experience you will lead a small teams through successful bid coordination and project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all the engineering activities required in order to develop proposals for bids and in order to estimate costs, deadlines and risks for bids and projects 
  • Complete advanced studies dealing with future operational concepts, new functions and new technologies 
  • Identify the required skills of your team, allocate responsibilities to the various individual contributors and leads these contributors as a team
  • Coordinate work package delegation and management covering full engineering lifecycle from research and advanced studies up to IVVQA
  • Focus on data and documents covering part or all the range of activities regarding customer needs, solution architecture, mission, function, architectural design, life cycle of the solution / product, requirements and specialty engineering 
About You
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Systems Engineering or another related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in technical management within a relevant domain
  • Provide technical guidance and management coordinating a multidiscipline team of professionals 
  • Demonstrated experience in the participation in the preparation of significant bids
  • Experience with communications solutions in the rail environment will be highly regarded though not essential
