This business critical role will be to monitor and challenge the stock on consignment and pull back excess to our National Warehouse.

The responsibilities of this role would be:

  • Develop tools required to determine excess across the 321 locations
  • Discuss and challenge the sales reps monthly and escalate to RMs if need be
  • Pull back excess stock from consignment locations so that within SSP we will purchase less and will not have to replaced excess stock that is expiring
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to remove items from SSP that we are simply not selling

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of Marketing and Operations, procedures and processes impacted by product lifecycle management
  • Inventory planning/management experience
  • Understanding of inventory investment strategies and their impact on financials
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work well within in a team and independently
  • Proven organisation and planning skills
